This is all lovely Terry until we see the price.

So what is the price for this fabulous set?

$20 per chance? Or 20 times that?

Don't worry Ian, way more then you would spend.

It's nice to see something this heavy, wrapped in a velvet bag, and the placed in the box, with a heavy brass drain that has been chromed.

Not your typical Home Depot stuff with plastic drains and tech support web sites that disappear after you buy the faucet.

I won't install Home Depot house brands.
My time is worth more than that.

Ian,
This is more your stuff.
Only eight years old and already rusting.

We also installed three Toto Vespins there, skirted bowls with CEFIONTECT.

We removed the Mansfield Alto toilets that Consumer Reports is in love with.
Yeah right!

Question: Why are the polished brass Toto faucets a lot more expensive than the (pictured) polished chrome ones?

Aren't the polished chrome ones, chrome-plated brass?

Soiree Lav Faucet with 1/2" supply connections???

It is a nice faucet: I am in the process of installing one as I type this. Funny thing about this faucet: it comes with attached flexible supply lines that have a 1/2" fitting on the end, as opposed to the 3/8" fitting that I assumed it had when I installed my 3/8" supply valves. By any chance, would you know if someone makes a 1/2" male x 3/8" female adaptor with a chrome finish, or do I just use a 1/2" nipple and add an additional length of flex line to go from the 1/2" to the 3/8" (assuming they make a flex line with 1/2" female x 3/8" female)?

Polished brass needs a coating of something on it otherwise it will quickly tarnish, so it's likely more steps. Some places use an ion-spatter applied finish that isn't really brass, but looks like it. Again, more steps, more costs.

That's a nice set right there.

That drain is the most solid drain I have ever seen I think. It looks like it would out last most of the cheap crappy houses built today!

I'd love to install a set like this for a customer to see it in person!
