I need to replace the toilets in our home and want to install at least one high rise toilet. I wanted a Toto, but the highest I can find is 16 1/4 inches. the Clinton Hi-Boy Challenger 832 toilet by Western is 17 1/4 inches.
The American Standards put in by the builders are tempermental and clog far too often -- sometimes with one sheet of Toilet paper and even though we have learned to hold the lever down to increase the flushing power!
Is there any chance Toto makes a toilet with a 17 1/4 inch rise? If not, will the Western be better than the American Standard? or is there another brand with a higher rise that would be better than the Western?
