well point

Iam trying to drive a 11/4 well point,actually its drove (very rocky ground)but I cant get any water.I have a jet pump hooked up,its down about 18ft.I cant get a foot valve because its to small of pipe so I put an inline check valve above ground under my house but cant get anything and theres lots of water.I had a piston pump hooked up to clear the dirty water for about 6 hrs.I hooked the pump back to my well and it works ok.the reason Iam changing is because I get alot of surface water.trying to find a bigger well point,11/2 or 2 but cant seem to find any up here.any ideas?

Really, really really look hard for a suction line leak and then look again. Is it lifting 18'? Put the check valve at the top of the point.

I got a 1 inch hose shoved down the 11/4 galvanized pipe.do you mean to screw the inline check valve right to the steel pipe?i was trying to get a bigger wellpoint and put a foot valve on the 1" hose and put that down..do you know of any company that sells wellpoints?thanks
