I will need to change my basement bath rough-in by relocating the toilet flange and drain as well as the shower drain. The drains are located below the 4" slab of course and drain to a back water valve on the same level about ten feet away which then goes out to the sewer.
Based on the fact that the drain is functional should there be any exceptionally motivating factors to install a waste ejector pump as opposed to simply using the back water drain as it is?
I have read that ejectors are more needed in an actual "lift" scenario which this is not. Also, barring putting something in the toilet that needs to be ground up what else would be a motivating reason to not stick with the set-up I have?
Thanks for the input....
