The "inline" anti-siphon component of my nibco outside water spigot needs to be replaced - or it needs new "insides". I cannot seem to find evidence that it ever existed, however.

It attaches to the spigot with fine threads (probably about a 1" "female" opening) and has regular hose threads on the "male" end. The inside gasket is worn out and a brass piece that covers the gasket is bent and broken.

The fitting has the following identification markings on it - "NIBCO-VBS-12-AASE 1011-UPC". Does anybody know where I can find replacement parts?

Thanks,

Might be cheaper and easer to replace it.........

The valve is "frost free" and the basement is finished. Replacement will require a few holes in the walls and ceiling - and the requisite re-finishing afterwards.

I'd like to try other options first...

Make an access? You may need one again....
Does it leak? Do you need it to be anti-siphon?
