Replacing two toilets and we definitely want dual flush. After some research I was set on the toto, but our local supplier has a kohler line called Sterling with a couple of dual flush options (Karsten and Rockton). They are about $100 cheaper. I've seen some negative posts about Kohler, but no mention of Sterling line or these particular models. I really like the look of the Toto Aquiia - but price and function are more important. Any advice?

Let's see if I understand this. The local plumbing store sells the Kohler line but does not sell the Toto line. He says Kohler is just as good. Well, I guess that's enough reason to disregard all of the pros on this forum advice.

Thanks Terry, I will check that rating on the Karsten too.

Gary - Sorry if I was unclear. The folks here can get the Toto didn't say they were just as good. I haven't seen anything on this extensive forum about the Sterling line, which is why I posted, to ask some pros for advice. If you have any, please send them along.

I've sold a few hundred of the Aquia.

Just a handful of the Rockton.
No repeat sales from the Rockton though, they went with Toto on their next batch of toiets.

installation price seems crazy??

Called a local plumber about installation for two Toto Aquiia II and got a quote of nearly $1000 (yes three zeros). Could that be in the price range I should expect?

I just installed two Aquia IIIs in my home yesterday in about 4 hours thanks to some online install help from Terry. I'm just a homeowner with two left hands. Hardest part was drilling through ceramic flooring to mount the anchor posts.
