Dalton, Carusoe or other due to tile baseboard

Hi, I'm posting here for the first time. I'm replacing an older one-piece American Standard 6.0 lpf, round front, linen colour 2095/97. It has never worked very well and has recently been clogging. The plumber recommends replacing. I have 2 Toto Ultimates elsewhere in the house and very happy with them. An Ultimate won't fit in this br.

The problem is the built-in baseboard behind the AS toilet that cannot be removed (it's tile and likely covers some plumbing). The tile baseboard is 4.75" deep and 7" high. The bolt distance to the baseboard is 8". I need a toilet that allows for this. A recommendation from the plumber was the Carusoe (with an insulated bowl).

After reading the discussions and reviews on the Carusoe, I don't like the thought of the splashing, the small trapway and the gavity system. The Dalton looks like it might fit, does anyone know the clearance in the back and whether this will will fit my bathroom? Do I need an insulated tank? Is there another toilet recommendation.

Thank you

asking again

Hi can anyone give me the measurements behind a Dalton or anywhere where they may have one for me to go and measure in Toronto?

Thanks

I sold a regular rim Dalton to
