Just moved into an ~50yr old home. We have 7 total toilets in the house which function fine, but I have noticed that they ALL burp when you flush them. You flush, a medium size bubble emerges, and then everything proceeds as normal.
I've read a few discussions of this problem, but the other discussions all seem to discuss this happening on a single toilet or some other situation where activity elsewhere in the house is causing the burping (i.e. running the washing machine leads to the toilet burping). I've only noticed this when you actually flush the toilet not when any other activity is occurring.
Some descriptions say that this is either a line clog or a venting problem, but again these usually focus on a single toilet, rather than all of them.
Does the fact that this is happening on all of our toilets help pinpoint the possible location of our problem? Either way, I'm probably going to get a professional to check it out, but I was hoping to have some idea of what the likely problem was before I had him come out.
Many Thanks
Juano
