We've purchase this house just a couple months ago and everything's been working fine since then, but last night and I believe yesterday by the mess I had to clean up whenever the washer drains it's backing up both bathtubs and both toilets bubble up. The toilets will even leak water from the base as well. I'm at a loss, I do not know what's caused this. Yet, this morning, prior to me turning on the washer, the toilet worked fine.

I'm probably going to call the home warranty folks and have them come take a look at this, but I figured I could post and get some more information if possible. Best I can figure is that there's some stoppage or slow drainage issue somewhere. (I only say slow drainage because it seems to work for showers and toilets, but when a lot more water is draining it then backs up.)

You are correct, the problem is a clogged drain. The remedy is to call a plumber to professionally clean the line. Do not try chemicals, they won't work and they create a hazzard. Don't try a DIY auger, if you found one that was capable of doing the job, it would be dangerous for a novice to use, and any thing smaller would be ineffective. You should consult the plumber as to what might be the cause. It is likely just some foreign object that accidentally go in to the drain, but it is possible there could be a problem that would need professional repair.

BTW, if you already have poured chemicals in, tell the plumber what it was, how much, and when you did it so he can be prepared.
