I have new construction in which there's a bar sink at the end of an 8-foot peninsula counter. The main sink is on an exterior wall about 10 feet away. A plumber did the rough-in and I'm trying to figure out what he intended so I can finish the installation. Unfortunately, he's unavailable.

He has two vertical ABS lines in the cabinet under the sink area. They appear to be about 2.5" OD. The one farthest from the main sink sticks up about 12 inches from the bottom of the cabinet. The other is about twice as high, nearly reaching the underside of the countertop.

The guy who's doing the framing said he thinks it's a "bar loop" but he couldn't explain exactly how the sink should be hooked up. Any advice or should I wait until I can reach the plumber?

It's piping for a loop vent. It needs to be correctly installed. Why not call the plumber back?
