air in pipes

We have a shallow (11 feet) point in our cellar floor. Last week we installed a new jet pump and pressurized water tank. All seemed fine at first - but now we're getting air in our pipes. I notice a gap between the point and the surrounding dirt. Would the point be drawing in air - if not - any other suggestions on where the air is coming from?

I think you're right, it's where the air is coming from.

It could be your installation too. Just because you didn't have air at first doesn't mean you don't have an air leak. It just took that long for enough of it to build up in the tank to start migrationg to the faucets.
