I am thinking about using a 3"elbow with a 2" side inlet for a closet bend on a toilet. The 2" inlet would be for the bathroom sink drain. I could use either a side inlet, or back inlet elbow if one is preferable for the other. This is due to space limitations. Will this work ok?

Thanks,

Chris

You can not use a side inlet elbow as your closet elbow. Now you can use a Side inlet tee to tie in your lavatory sink to the stack. Also do not forget to vent your lavatory sink.
