Service line shut off tool

i have never been involved with a service line shut off tool.

are crimp tools okay?

are freezers okay?

what is better? are there problems with either?

I answered this once before. A crimp tool works good on PE. On copper, you have a choke point, because it can't reround the tube back to it's original ID. So you lose some flow.
