We were receiving water yesterday morning, then went out started my washer and the water quit from my pump. There was no clicking no sounds at all. We thought it was the pressure switch. We replaced it, made sure all the wires were hot and working. We turned the electricity back on and now all we hear is a humming but it is not pumping the water. What do we need to check for now?
Someone suggested a capacitor. How do I find it and how do I fix it?
Someone else suggested the pump is seized? What does that mean and how do I find out and fix it?
As many others, money is tight and really can't afford a plumber or well person come out and fix it.
