kitchen sink drain

I have had problems with my kitchen sink backing up for over a year now.
I've tried draino,liquid plumber,plunging to no avail. I called plumbers, they snaked inside the gargage which is under the kitchen, and outside drain...nothing worked ,they told me i need to have the ground dugged up, and replace drain pipes. I was recently told by a friend that I could reroute the drain to another drain location in the house. Is that possible, and is that not recommmended.

You can run kitchen lines anyway you want,
The Kitchen waste line would be 2", with 1-1/2" vent and 1-1/2" trap arm.

If you have a crawlspace, it would be easy to run to existing piping there.

Where and what is the actual problem with the existing line?

The existing line is located in the kitchen , and straight down into the garage. The problem is we can't get it unclogged, because I was told it is too far out to the street to snake it. So I need to dig up the street to access the drain.

get someone reputable with a sewer cam and see what is going on before you go to the expense and trouble of changing the drain.

Something sounds fishy!
I'd try a second company for a second opinion.
