Walk-in Tile Shower help

I am building a walk in shower. We are going to tile up the entire walls and the floor. For the walls should I drywall with green board then use cement board over the top of that? Or just use cement board over the studs?

cement board on studs. you need a vapor barrier ( 6 mil poly or 15 lb felt) under the cement board.

There are lots of ways to skin this cat, but Jimbo has you pointed in the right direction. There are alternatives that work well...two things, check out the Kerdi shower system at www.schluter.com (http://www.schluter.com) and go over to wwwjohnbridge.com for help with your tiled shower using either conventional methods or Kerdi (and others).
