I'm an apprentice, who is taking the exam, but i don't really understand (dfu). Can you be kind and give me some insite or an example,i've been reading my code book but it don't jump out at me.

Dfu's are listed in your code book, The number of DFU's going into a drain determine the size of the trap and drain pipe sizes used. I don't know what else I could tell you with out more information...

I know the fixtures with the least DFU's, .5 if I remember correctly are water fountains and waterless urinals.
