Speakman tub/shower valve HELP, PLEASE

I'm looking for replacement stems/spindles for a Speakman supply valve. Their plumbing specialist thinks this is a Flo-Free model made in the 60's to 80's. They don't make replacement parts for it anymore and said I would probably need to find an aftermarket manufacturer. Anyone have any idea where I might find replacement stems??? The picture shows it with the sleeve still in place. The location is Washington DC, if it matters.
