Filling system for DWV water test

What is the best way to go about filling the DWV system for a water test?

I've seen some mention of rubber test caps with boiler drains to connect a hose, but can't seem to find them anywhere. I could just take a hose to the main stack on the roof, but is there a way to do it without getting out the ladder (I don't mind the heights, but would like to avoid getting on top of my 2 story, steep roofed house if possible.)

I will be testing the entire system inside the house with a pneumatic plug inserted in the cleanout just outside the foundation.

Any plumbing supply house will have the rubber fillvalve with boiler drain.

Or you can make one from a PVC 1-1/2" slip x 3/4" FIP and thread in the boiler drain.
A no-hub coupling attaches it to the sink or lav stub-out.

A washer hose completes the connection to the hose, it has two female ends.

I use a 2" x 3/4" bushing with a hose bibb screwed to it, and screw the bushing into one of the many 2" cleanout openings a normal layout has.

Had not seen that type of coupler yet, but found it at Lowe's last night. Of course they were out of the rubber coupling, but I'll get that at the plumbing supply today.

Like both the ideas, but I'll go with Terry's for this job as the stub out is more accessible to the hose than the cleanouts in this case.
