Hello all, I will shortly be needing a toilet for my soon to be completed downstairs remodel. I read through some of Terry's info, and it looks like something along the lines of a Toto Drake would be a good choice.

The floor is concrete with hydronic radiant heat. I've heard that radiant heat can mess with conventional wax rings. I bought a waxless toilet seal, that has a plastic sleeve and a rubber o-ring instead. This chokes the diameter of the drain from 3" to maybe 2" (going from memory here, numbers could be a bit off).

The Drake has an outlet of 3", would this play well discharging into the 2" restriction?

If that is not optimal, are there other quality toilets to look at that have a 2" outlet?

Thanks for the help.

While the Drake has a 3" flapper valve, the trapway is 2-1/8". The horn on most of the waxless is larger than that.
