Hello Gents. I have read a few threads that were a few years old but, I would very much like to hear your opinions. I am considering either a Gerber ultra-flush or a Caroma Sydney 305 plus. Which would be least likely to clog and does the Sydney have a 3 or 4 inch minimum trapway. thank you for your ideas.

The Caroma has a trapway larger than 3"

The Gerber Ultraflush has a trapway of 1-7/8"

If you have a medical condition that requires the large Caroma trapway, then that may be you best choice.

If you don't have a medical condition, then a trapway of 2-1/8" will work fine, those can be found in many brands.
For better performance, find a tank with a 3" flush valve (flapper)

Thanks

Thank you for the response. Good advice. I didn't even think to look for Flush valve size.

I see the Duravit Happy D. Toilet Set D14034 has the bigger flapper but, I can find nothing on the internet about it's trap size. Do you know the trap size and do you have an opinion on that toilet?
