I bought this faucet a couple of weeks ago:

I installed the faucet and replaced the shutoff valves. I used some teflon tape when replacing the valves. Everything was fine for a couple of weeks, but now I have really weak water pressure. I saw a small piece of the teflon tape when I checked the aerator, and now I am worried a piece is stuck in the wand somewhere. I removed the hose from the wand and seemed to get pretty good pressure straight from the hose. I do not see anything when I look into where the hose connects to the wand.

Any idea on how to clean this out or any other ideas on what the problem may be?

Thanks

Were the shutoff valves compression or screw-on? If compression, you aren't supposed to use any tape or pipe dope on them. If you had a screw-on valve, if you aren't careful installing the tape, some can get into the water stream and clog things up. If you take the cartridge out then momentarily turn on the shutoff (hold something over so you don't spray everything), if you've got a piece of tape in the line, you may flush it out, or you may see it in the cartridge.
