Just curious how it would installed in your area. I will post how we do it here and have been since the 80's later with one 2" vent.

Well yes you can. Above pictures are right from the Illinois code book.

BTW, SewerRatz, shoot me a email (esplumbing@verizon.net) with your contact info and I will pass it along to my friends in Wheaton.

Given those distances and the IPC the answer is no.

There is NO CODE which would allow a single vent, given those distances, and if that is the only plumbing other than a kitchen sink, the single 2" vent might not be permitted either.

This will pass inspection all day long here in my area of Florida. When I worked up in Ohio years back you can bet I was lost at all the dry venting run there.

We have done a few thousand homes this way over the last 20 years.

Where in Florida can you get away with that?

I knew this would spark some interest. Here is a simple bath:

Would this pass?

This is how a standard bath is plumbed here and has been since the 80's.

Depends on the distance from the bath or shower trap to the wet vent. If it's much more that 6' than no it will not pass. If it's passing there it's only because the inspectors havn't got a clue.
