Hello all.....
I am in process of installing a new "cultured" marble vanity top, and a new faucet, as well.......
The product "Sta Put" Plumbers Putty, made by Hercules......is has a NOTE on the container label which states: NOTE: Do not use Sta Put in direct contact with marble, granite or other porous stone, ceramics or MANUFACTURED SUBSTITUES. On natural materials (stone, marble, etc.), spray or brush contact area with clear acrylic lacquer and allow to dry. Then apply STA PUT.
My question: does this apply to my "cultured" marble vanity top? or, am I safe to apply directly to the cultured marble vanity top?
Thanks for any info.....
-Bill
