I installed an Alson hand held shower in my newly remodeled bathroom shower. I am very disappointed with the preasure of the water coming out.
I know the is a code that says how much water a shower head can pass per minute, but is there any way I can get more water/pressure out of the sprayer?
Is the a brand that seems to create more pressure with the same amount of water?
Thanks!
Ron

You have not lost pressure. You have a low flow problem probably due to a fairly long hose with a small diameter. Pressure (psi) does not change when a pipe or tube is reduced in size, but the amount of flow (gpm) will decrease.

Try removing the water restrictor in the handheld.

I ordered and installed a new Speakman hand held and fixed shower head along with a three way diverter. Both the hand held and the fixed shower head are GREAT! I have turn down the water flow to keep from taking my skin off. If you was more pressure, get one of these!
