GPM at the kitchen sink

Is there a standard GPM measurement for the kitchen sink?

My wife thinks we're a little shy (need more water from the tap) and need a number to measure against.

Pull-out spout style faucet?

Do you have a pull-out spout style kitchen faucet?

If so, the culprit is the inline backflow preventer usually located at the connection point of the handheld sprayer. If you want it out, you can usually pull them out with a needlenose pliers.
