View Full Version : G-max won't shut off - clarification

(I can't seem to locate the threads I saw where I learned about the following - so my apologies if this was covered and I missed it. I'm so happy to have found this forum :) )

I have several Toto toilets all with the G-max filler - the new one with the white screw that adjusts the water level. They don't make the water level rise to the top of the overflow but they have started to drip continuously through the narrow filler tube that goes down the overflow to fill the bowl.

There was discussion that a cap replacement (using the Korky528 replacement cap) would work to fix the problem, but then I read that they don't work with the "new" ones with the white adjustment screw. Is that the case???

If that's true, then I will follow Lee's (http://www.terrylove.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25707) advice and get the Korky528T from Ace and replace the whole filler assemblies.

Thanks for any help you can provide

If this is what you have call Toto and they will send you a replacement. this fill valve is not repairable.

Thanks Redwood - that's the one!
Several posters had mentioned that they called to get the replacement but that failed in the same way fairly soon. Has Toto fixed the problem so the newer replacements don't fail in the same manner? Thanks for your help!

I don't know.
I would hope they go back to what they had before.
I think they made a bad choice.
