Need help on Replacing Septic Drainline

Hello, I am in the process of replacing my septic drainline. I have dug down to the 4" plastic pipe and need to know how the pipe is attached to septic tank. Is it sealed with concrete, rubber ring, etc...? I tugged on it and didn't seem to have much luck. Thanks !

Most times a built in collar is made into the septic tank and the pipe is glued into it, but that isn't for all. You need to expose where it goes into the tank.

On my tank the oulet to the field has a slip fit rubber/neoprene connection.
