Need suggestions for a high power toilet

Hi there,
We are looking for a toilet for the guest bath that will be strong enough to make our guests comfortable and also flush down the pine pellets from the kitty litter. The pellets (Feline Pine) are flushable so that is not a problem but most toilets do not have a sufficiently strong flushing action, With our current OLD toilet it takes me 15 minutes to scoop and flush every time my cat uses the kitty litter. One of my friends suggested a Gerber which sounds like an airplane engine but I have found some Totos which seem to flush just as strong and cost less. What do you think? I am open to any brand, really, as long as my scooping and flushing time will be reduced.

I prefer that Toto over the Gerber for that type of thing.

I think Terry is being too tactful. The Gerber is not a very good toilet at all. You would be well advised to get a Toto. Quite honestly, I believe a Toto Drake would work just fine. When flushing the kitty litter, you would probably want to use the entire tank of water. That is done just be holding the handle for a couple of extra seconds. When you just trip and release, only part of the tank is release for the flush. This is quite enough for everyday use, but with the extra load of litter, a little more water might be justified. (I don't have much tact, I just tell it like I see it)

My Drake is in Tyler's bathroom, as is his box. I use Tidy Cat regular clay litter (or store brand), and scoop only the "poopies". Any clay granules that end up in the toilet are flushed completely as is everything else.

The Cadet 3 in MY bathroom downstairs does as well as the Drake. I sometimes have to carry the box downstairs and empty it there because Tyler is asleep on his Drake Bed and I don't want (or dare) to disturb him.

Off Topic: Some mornings, I have to lock the cat out of HIS bathroom so I can shave and shower in peace....

A good rule of thumb is to never flush anything which you have not eaten first! Your kitty litter may CLAIM to be flushable. Easy for them to say! I believe you are asking for trouble.
