Question from new guy: Toto Aquia toilets

I have done a search and browsed dozens of posts about the Toto Aquia toilet models. However I am still a little confused about the differences among models. I am interested in the Aquia, or the AquiaII. (No interest in the AquiaIII). This is for installation in new construction.

Is there a FUNCTIONAL difference between these 2 models, or is it only aesthetic? Looks wise, I dont really have a preference. Is the AquiaII simply an updated and improved model over the Aquia? Finally which would you recommend, is one better than the other in your opinion?

No real difference in the function of the 1 and 2.
The Aquia 1 have a plastic p/trap, people don't like this because it makes the water that overflows into the trap from waste being added seem loud (a drpping noise).
The Aquia 2 has a china trapway eliminating this problem.
We don't carry the 1 anymore it's a better design for the same money.
