New project starting

Hi,
I'm a do it yourself guy who is in the final planning stages of a bathroom remodel. I have a few questions though.
Bathroom is question has a alcove tub/shower combo. I would like to replace this with a jet tub and new showerhead/taps etc. It is the standard 60" size.
Does anyone have experience with Kohler tubs? I installed a Kohler toilet in our downstairs bath and we really like it.
What would some of you pros recommend. I will likely be ordering it from one of our local plumbing contractors.

I'm happy w/ our Kohler Devonshire tub. We got the apron front normal version.

My wife and I also noticed that the Kohler Devonshire was used for the scene of Eastwood in the tub in Gran Torino. Is that bad that we noticed that?
