What if you took water with all the bad stuff screened out and . . . added something to it? This proposition has taken the form of Pur Flavor Options — faucet-mounted or pitcher filters that accommodate individual “flavor cartridges.†Sold in grocery stores, *********s and discount department stores like Wal-Mart, these cartridges come in “five tasty fruit flavors,†including grape, peach and lemon.

Not for me
Might be a good idea for a bar , restaurant?

Actually, I think the flavored water would be kind of nice. I drink alot of water, and seriously, no rum and coke. Just some whiskey. ;)

I've had one of these for 6 months or so. Fun for the first couple weeks and then I sort of forgot about it.

It has a little plastic squeeze reservoir with the sweetened flavor concentrate on it. You push on the front of the filter a couple times to squirt flavor into your glass while filling up.

Yeah, we never have to buy bottled condiments again! You purchase a manifold that mounts to your kitchen wall, there are concentrated cartridges of every condiment under the sun. With a 1/4" line ran form under the sink and with the push of a lever, INSTA-MUSTARD, INSTA-GRAVY etc... ad infinitum...

I don't know if the water would have vitamins or nutrients or just a flavoring, but, I know what bugs me are the products out there that claim they have vitamins in it, or gives you energy. I get bugged when I see the cans in my kids cars and was glad to learn they recently, wised up and stopped drinking it. Here is an article I read just this morning.

Happily, the water in my area is excellent as it comes from the tap. I see no reason to even consider filtering it. I realize some places have very bad tasting water, so then either a filter or bottled water is desirable. However, I think it should be some sort of an option as to flavor. For example, I do not care much for flavored coffees so when I go to visit someone and they serve me their favorite coffee flavor, it is not a treat for me. I really dislike cherry flavor, so a filter with cherry flavored water would not be a pleasant experience for me, so there should be a by-pass option to get natural water. Yeah, I know I'm just not into the 21st century. I have no use for Lattes or other espressos either.:D
