My dishwasher discharge hose is running into the airgap, and when it drains,it overflows out the top of the airgap. What can i do?

Check the 7/8" discharge hose running from your airgap to the disposal or sink tailpiece for any kinks in the line. If there are none disconnect the hose and check for any debris in the line or at the disposal connection. Take the top off the airgap and inspect for debris. Debris or a kink are the causes of your problem in most cases.
