Gas Furnace is buzzing

I have a gas furnace that has started buzzing when running.

The unit is a Amana Air Command 80 SSE that is about 9 yrs old.

Looking at the front, where the cover is.. it seems to be coming from the upper left hand side.

It seems to working fine, but it does have me worried.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

That could be the magnetic part of a contactor or relay not pulling all the way down because of a little dust or whatever. Failure is not likely imminent, but you should get it checked if you cannot do that yourself.

I'd use a garden hose to isolate the noise source. You need someone on the distant end to signal you when the hose end is on top of the noise.

Thanks. I'll get it checked out. It could probably need a good cleaning....
