hot water heater leaking from drain

Could some back pressure from a pressure washer cause a leak in the drain valve on a hot water heater? After pressure washing I had water leaking out the drain valve.

No. In the first place there is no "back pressure", and second unless you have a "sealed system" the pressure in the house would not increase even if there were.
