Baseboard install

Hi everyone, my questions is how far off the sub-floor do you place the bottom of the baseboard? Embassy baseboard, Indiana location. Thanks, Eric

That depends on what you're using as finish flooring.

Personally, I run my baseboards after the finish floor.

I usually hold it up 3/4" from the sub floor. That allows pretty much any finished flooring to be installed.
