help with Toto GMax 528 Fill System

Hello,

I have a Toto toilet with a GMax 528 float system. The problem is that it is filling very slowly once the toilet is flushed. If I remove the bowl cover and "flick" or jiggle the float system, I can hear the water flowing faster, but by the next flush, I have to go through the process again. Please let me know what I need to do. I don't want to break anything, and am untimately afraid that I will break the bowl cover and never hear the end of it when I go to jiggle the float system to get the bowl to fill up quickly.
