Trough Drain in Shower

Has anyone had experience installing a trough drain into a shower similar to the link below? This would be for new construction. Any ideas where to start looking for products? thanks

J R Smith, and others, all have that drain. It comes in sections so you calculate the length you need and assemble the pieces.

Schluter was working on a drain like that for their Kerdi system. Don't know the status, check their website or call them. www.schluter.com. View their shower products, it's a great construction technique. Check on www.johnbridge.com for some other tiling suggestions.
