Tub Spourt with Front Diverter

I have a tub spourt with front diverter. There's a washer set inside where the diverter is. It's come out and I cannot turn the shower on since it doesn't divert...how can I put this back. I can't see how I can take this apart to put the washer back.

Replace the spout. Yours is probably a Mixet and clamps on, so replacing it should be easy.

Uhhh..replace the sprout but it looks like it goes into the wall and tile?
