In an attempt to repair a minor problem, we accidently cracked the ceramic BRIGGS 4930 D Toilet tank.
I called the company and they said that since they dont make the 3.5 Gallon tanks anymore I will need to replace the entire unit, i.e. the Tank and the Bowl.

Questions

1. Do I really need to change both, i.e. the Tank and the Bowl.
or can I make do with just a new Tank?

2. If I really do have to change the entire unit, does any one have any recommedations about which new toilet unit I should go in for?
My Budget is $250 MAx

If you have a 3.5 gallon bowl, you need a 3.5 gallon tank for it.

They do make plastic replacement tanks that would work.

If you are buying new, check the report below
