Yesterday I was in the supply house picking up some parts and I sat there watching the Am. Std. Rep trying to get 2 color matching lav sinks.
It seems the customer special ordered 2 colored lav sinks for a side by side installation...
One came from Guatemala and the other came from Brazil. The colors were not even close!
So anyway the rep came in with 2 new sinks one of which was from the Dominican Republic and the other was from somewhere else I forget where...
OPPS...
Well I guess he got lucky as the counter guy inspected all 4 he managed to select 2 that were "close enough" for a color match...
I guess now all they need to hope for is that there aren't any other problems...
Just thought I'd share this story of Central American Standard Quality...
