wet walls

Hi - I need some imput. Took off the old tiles and greenboard in my shower, the walls are wet. What do I need to do before I put up the vapor barrier and the ceramic wallboard. What do I have to do to dry out the walls, and is there something I can do to treat them before I go ahead? Don't ever want to have to do this job again. Thanks.

If the walls...meaning studs, etc, are wet, you cannot button that up yet, or you will have mold.

A large fan is how you can dry it out in a day or so. Some added heat would be ok, and also a dehumidifier in the room while the fan is running,
