I have a clawfoot tub recently installed using porcelain coasters on a 1" tile floor. Problem is that the tub slides easily on the coasters which can create problems for the slip joints on the hot and cold water lines.

Any thoughts?

Silicone caulk?

Try that first. Plan B would be liquid nails heavy duty (exterior rated) that you can caulk over with the right color.

I assume this is not a cast iron tub. Didn't the legs have holes or brackets to fasten the tub in place? If not then gluing the coasters in place and then siliconing the tub to them may be the only solution.

Tile grout.

Mix a little tile grout in a cup, the same color as your tile grout and build up a little on the back side of each foot.

I've had to pull toilets that somebody grouted to the floor and they don't want to move. I've even broken a couple trying.
