What is the best way to transition CPVC to copper? I have a couple of transitions in the addition on my house that are a threaded female CPVC and a threaded female sweat on the copper side with a brass nipple in between.
But I read the other day that threaded female CPVC fittings are not recommended and even against code in some areas due to their ability to fail.
I've also been told that it's best to have a piece of brass in between the two types of materials.
How would the pros do it?
Thanks
