I'm plumbing a hot water boiler and am wondering if I can add on to an existing series loop with monoflow "T"'s to a seperate section. Will those 2 systems co-exist?

Thank you

heat

NO. The MonoFlo will divert heat from the loop, and any units downstream will suffer. It could only be for a single radiator, not a zone, and the requirement for a MonoFlo system is that there has to be resistance between the two tees approximately equal to the resistance of the branch, which would be difficult to do in your installation.

Wow.

Thank you for that answer. I was in HD today buying some copper and asked a guy there who said he knew about hydronics. He told me it would be fine.

I'm going to disregard what he told me, your answer makes sense to me and I'm not going to fool around with that series loop.
