Hot Water Heater noise

I have a gas hot water heater that makes somewhat of a gurglin noise when the hot or cold is tuned on about half way and higher. The noise gets louder as I increase the pressure. Any suggestions? THANKS! :eek:

How old is it? Might be time for replacement. My unprofessional opinion.

When is the last time that you flushed the water heater?
It sounds like it may just be sediment and loose scale "gurgling" when water is flowing into the tank.
