I have an old clawfoot tub I am using in my third floor bathroom.

I replaced the tub faucet and added a shower with a kit from Kingston Brass.

The overflow and drain do not line up. This is partly my fault and partly the tubs. I need to offset the overflow 1.5" Chrom line just one pipe space over. If that makes sense.

I was thiking of finding 2 chrome 45deg fittings, then I came across this today.

How can I check how much the offset is?....I found the offset on Watts site. It's like 5.25 inches. I need only about 1.5 inches of offset.

Can anyone think of an easier way for me to accomplish this?

That offset is not intended to be used the way it comes. You cut one end off at the needed spot and put it back into the other end making the offset you need.
