Hi,

Twice a year I add calcite to the neutralizer. Then I run the water out of all the spigots until all the gunk stops coming out. But sometimes the flow out of the spigots is slow. Usually I can solve this problem by continuing to run the water for a while, but this time around both of my outside spigots and one of my bathroom spigots are continuing to run slow after letting it run for a couple hours. Can anyone give me advice on how to fix this and/or how to prevent this from happening in the future? Thanks.

What clogged the pipes?

If it's gravel or mineral you have a broken bottom basket or distributor tub. Or if you overfilled it, the distributor tube may not be sealed in the o-ring up in the bottom of the control valve.

You should have put the control valve in the backwash position and backwashed the dust out of the new mineral until the drain water was clear before turning the water on in the house.
