I just purchased a new modular home and am going to attach to my existing septic line. I'm using 3 inch PVC and my old line is 4 inch ceramic. How do I connect them together

You would use a banded coupling Fernco, Mission Rubber or other manufacturer that adapts the 2 different pipes together.

It is not ceramic it is vitrified clay, and the first thing you will have to do is remove the hub if you have one. Then a transition Fernco or Mission coupling will adapt the two materials and sizes.

see fernco.com or missionrubber.com they have specialty fittings to join any 2 different pipe types.
