new runtal towle warmer bleed vale leaks w/30 psi air test
do these radiators incorporate a float ball inside also, actuated by the water level?
thanks any help would be appreciated

Are you saying you put 30lbs of air on the system?

30 psi in the loop befor connecting to manifold
You may have a vent with a hygroscopic disc and if so then yes, it will leak slightly on air pressure. If you have a float-type vent it will definitely leak with air pressure.

After much research I found the answer in a copy of...
"Common Sense" Written by Thomas Paine January 10, 1776
The vent is designed to eliminate air from the system.
Therefore it would be an entirely reasonable assumption that it would not contain the air pressure in the system during testing unless it was capped or otherwise prevented from doing its intended job.
